Sliding Gates for Harsh Conditions

Customers’ Requirement:

Gates to protect operators from dangerous machinery in harsh environment where high amounts of paper pulp form at ground level (paper mill).

Adherence to customer indicated specifications for construction of sliding and locking elements.

How we got there:

• Overhead track gates were used so that sliding of gates was not impeded by high levels of paper pulp buildup on the ground.
• Heavy duty drop bolts for locking gate panels into place. Including custom CNC locking pins to secure drop bolts when in place.
• Original systems was black powder coated and then later transition to 304 stainless steel for additional protection against the corrosive environment.
